I bought a 5 series touring to join the X3, which one is best?
Hey all,
So I recently picked up a pre LCI 2020 520d M sport touring (primarily for the dogs to get in and out of easily). It joins my Phytonic blue X3 M sport that I picked up in September. I am really impressed with the sheer size of the touring's boot capacity, especially when the rear seats are folded. Interestingly both cars are getting 46 mpg (roughly) with the same 2l diesel unit. I don't know if I am impressed by the X3 or disappointed with the 5 series (owned a 2013 F10 years ago that got similar mpg). The X3 xdrive is ideal right now for the winter roads in comparison to the 5's rwd. Has anyone else ever owned both and has a preference?

I've had two 5 Series Tourers and on my third X3, I love them all but the X3 has a slight edge as for me it is easier to get in and out of due to breaking my back in a Rally accident some years ago, also I feel a little safer in the X3 I just love it and can say that it gives me a buzz every time I fire it up
