Yes, but I think my call was just a conference call, no presentation. It basically treated it like a Bluetooth call. Curious if it would show presentation material. Now if Microsoft teams would evolve....

I do it all the time. It’s just pushes the audio, you can’t see the presentation on the screen. You can mute and unmute yourself which is nice. The presentation if there is one is still shown on your iPhone though, but it wouldn’t be safe to view that while driving.
What I typically do is park and take the zoom call using the BMW screen to mute and unmute while I watch the presentation on my iPhone. |

Why use the the X3 small screen? Just use an ipad 12.9" and a holder for it and you are set . I did that because I had Tesla-complex with our X3 lacking the tablet control panel ha!

GREAT......another "distraction" while driving! Maybe someone will design a coffee maker and toaster to fit into the glove box and arm rest so a driver can make breakfast while driving!

Sweet - how does it work?
The Zoom app gives you limited meeting controls in cars supporting Apple Carplay. It allows you to call one of your Zoom contacts, accept Zoom meeting invitations, and mute during a call. from https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/art...eting-Controls Seems to imply you can't join a conf call? I guess my interpretation of this is incorrect? I'd be interested how exactly you join a meeting, you have to enter ID and password versus having been sent the direct password integrated meeting URL? Most people in my company only send the URL, which is a bummer when you don't have a device to login. I'd be even more interested if you could sign in and host a meeting whilst driving :-). With my companies SSO use of 2FA that should be fun :-> |

I hope it's cos I got ID6. Some of this crap I wonder why they bother. Of course that's possibly me getting increasingly bitter and twisted due to not BEING ABLE TO GO TO THE F**KING PUB FOR MONTHS. |

It just treats as a bluetooth call and I was able to use mute/unmute while driving the car. |

CarPlay support for teams will enable the ability to join calls from idrive instead of having to use the phone. This is important for where I live since it's illegal to hold/use a phone while driving
