Over the years, BMW has gotten progressively more and more restrictive about "proprietary" information being posted on boards like this ... 10-12 years ago you could get technical bulletins, pricing guides and other 'official direct from BMW' info from postings ... now it has to be leaks and calculations.

I suspect that dealer complaints probably influenced this - knowledge is power and it is harder to make an extra buck off an well-informed consumer.

If it offers something people want, there is a value. If those info can help me to do a job properly, it will worth that $30. If BMW is making money, buy their stock, you can make money along with them, win-win-win.

I'm no expert in the world of gazillion different software pieces that BMW created for supporting their cars for repair, service, coding, programming, parts, accessories, etc.

But i had to pour in few hours online searching and learning to put just the "few" of different software elements together to support my E and G series bimmers.

And so far offline ISTA+ seems like the TIS replacement.

Now, when i go to the newtis.info site, i do see a place for login.

What does that mean?

Is newtis.info somehow still available behind a login?

That would be horrible. I would report it to BMW....after I have inspected the entire site for authenticity and infringement

I've been reading on this and it seems at least one poster (another board) got his IP blocked because he tried to download the site.

For $30 if you could save the info offline via app would be good but screen shots or PDFs would take quite some time. I mean, not that I would do that!
