any one try the Michelin PILOT SPORT ALL SEASON 4 Ultra High Performance All-Season
tires? I have had them on other cars and they were a great balance between performance and wet weather . currently have the Contis. no real complaints about them but from experience the Michi's are usually better tires

I'm going with them also! Great tire for all around performance and light snow. Stock tires are coming off day 1 especially if the Conti's! They wear horrible as my X5 came with them.

Would this be ok for my 21" set up running 718 wheels. the difference is slightly above 1% front and rear. This is for the new Michelin Pilot sport AS4 tires.

any improvement in ride quality with these?
i'm debating getting a dedicated set of winters vs just switch to these and not messing with it.

I put these on a little while ago (in OEM X3MC size). I am going to use these year round (I live in Massachusetts but I run dedicated winter tires on two of my other vehicles). So far, the tires are impressive for an all season tire. The biggest difference is that they ride noticeably better than the Contis my X3MC came with. Not any quieter (slightly disappointing) but they do much better in the wet. Obviously, I cannot speak to any snow conditions yet. In dry and wet conditions, these will likely do better than dedicated winter tires unless it got really cold.

I tried to order these around labor day, discounttire was having a 10% discount. They contacted me two days later and told me these aren't even out yet in 21"s.

I have my set of MPS4 AS ready for my winter wheel installation. I will update once they're installed.>>>>>> UPDATE These tires makes all the difference for me. MPS4AS handles excellent, treadwear has almost doubled from my summer setup. Without a doubt, the ride feels softened. I will ride these MPS4AS all year because I like them a lot and they turned out better than anticipated!!

I think they are good, way better than any other all seasons I ever had. I’m not a tire expert but, they have the same speed rating as stock, so to me they should have a much higher level of grip than a standard all season.

These look very similar to the Michelin Pilot Sport AS3+ (Ultra High Performance-All-Season I've used in all my cars before)

If you have or want to go all season it looks like there's a split of those who do stock sizes in the michelin a/s 4s and the pirelli scorpion zeros in 265/295. I'm ordering this week and still on the fence. I live close to a tire rack distribution center so I can get a slight discount and tax savings on both tires but the pirellis come out to about $300 cheaper. First world problems!

Rears 295/35/21 You would have to deviate from the factory size. Or you could do a square 265/40/21. |

I have them on my X3M Base. Went with stock sizes. Seem to be great tires so far. No complaints, other than they were a bit expensive - but far less expensive than a set of winters and associated costs.

I had the A/S 4s installed (stock 255/265) Friday and quickly I could tell these tires provided a better ride than my Contis. I've driven about 100 miles on them around the crappy streets of Baltimore and they definitely provide a better ride (keep in mind I wasn't bothered by the original set up). Hopefully once they are broken in the dry performance will be strong. I did change my idrive setting to winter/AS tires but can't find anything in the manual about what that really means. PSI still on stock recommendations of 33/38.
