Finance Question - X3M Finance Special

Hello, BMW has a current finance incentive but I’m not sure what this means:
“$5,000 APR Credit is a credit against the MSRP of the vehicle purchased.”

Is that up to $5k deducted off interest paid during the finance term? Or something else?

Complete terms here:
https://www.bmwusa.com/special-offer...ayareabmw.html

Thanks for the help!

to completely sideswipe your original inquiry and unable to answer you, I can't help but notice you're in the bay. If you're interested and don't have a sales rep yet let me know, I have someone in Mountain View who can help.

Also nice to know someone who suffers the extremely expensive living costs here and still enjoy a good ride :]

If you finance through BMW Financial Services you will receive a $5K credit at time of purchase. They've had this incentive since Feb.

5k off. Additionally they had/have(?) a 0.9% for 60 months incentive too

Yup. $5K off purchase price if you finance through them. We did that for a small amount when we purchased our X3. The dealership only asked us to wait for 3 pmts before paying off the loan, so that they wouldn't get dinged back for the $5K.

I think there's another $750 "conquest" credit. I didn't get that, but I did get $1500 credit for owning a BMW within the last couple months. It's all straight off the MSRP.

I think that is called the "Loyalty Discount". I got one as well and I believe you just have to have owned it within a year.

OP - One other thing to consider is the BMW CCA membership rebate.

My salesman advised me of it; you buy the membership for a hundred something and get a three hundred something rebate on the purchase of your vehicle.

My rebate check, 6 months later, is estimated to arrive in 2 - 4 weeks.

I'm sure there are other benefits for CCA - perhaps others can comment.

Really considering financing a x3mc myself. I've never bought new cars and always went through the used market. On the used market, negotiations are slim to none. How do you guys negotiate % off MSRP a new car? I've seen people got 10% off before other incentives on the x3mc.

if I'm looking at a 84k x3mc and have a trade in at nearly 15k can I expect to pay 55k with the ~10-11% off MSRP + 5k financing credit + my 15k trade in?

thanks so much for helping

How long are you planning to keep X3MC?

X3MC will cost a lot less in 12 months. If you can wait and buy a slightly used model, you will most likely save a quite a bit.

Preferably long term. I want the non digital cluster and mostly loaded, ideally with black interior. It seems hard to find on the used market, unless I wait 3 years for leases to come back.

There are 23 used X3M vehicles on Cars.com already. Worth researching.

Do you just go to the sales rep saying I would like x% off MSRP?

That's literally what I did. I said I want 12% off before incentives. He called back an hour later and said ok.
