How to disconnect battery? Pls provide details
Due to Covid19, lots of us are stuck at home or city apartments (like me).
During this time, if I were back at home in my own garage, I would trickle charge the battery with my charger. However I'm now in a city apartment, having left my X3 parked in an indoor communal garage. I do not have my battery charger nor does it look like there is an outlet to charge. How do I go about disconnecting the battery for the next 3-4 weeks? A detailed step by step or photos explanations would be appreciated. Thanks! |

If you disconnect the battery then there will be no way to close the trunk without climbing through the back and reconnecting the battery. 3-4 weeks car should be able to sit locked and not have an issue.

Agreed. Also, take drives! Just don't stop anywhere other people are. Very good for keeping up morale! Wife and I have been going for a quick drive around every weekend to help with cabin fever. Go check out some new housing developments or something!

p.s. I've also been away for 3 weeks at a time and never had a battery problem.
