Auto H Button
Hi Guys, does anyone know to remove the Auto H button? Mine is all scratched and I have bought a replacement, but I figure out how to get the old button off.
Thanks |

I assume you mean just the cover for the button and not the button itself? Often I figure out how a part is held on by looking at the replacement to see where tabs are, etc. I don't know for sure how the cover comes off, but however it comes off it would probably be easier to do with the whole button in your hand instead of still installed. Luckily, on an F25 BMW that is as easy to do as any car there is. The wood of the center console is not held on by anything but snaps clips. It just pulls up from the rear. Maybe pull it up, then there are probably two T25 torx screws holding the switch on. I have had my wood off, but it's been a while.

Yes, understood it's the parts catalogue. In the past I've used realoem to provide clues how parts are clipped together. I'll use the newtis go forward, thanks. Learned something new
