Should have mentioned that's for the full system. Slip on is €4,800.

Titanium, and the price makes sense considering it’s the full system. For price comparison, check Eisenmann’s steel system.

I have not purchased a full exhaust for many years and just my opinion I think this is very expensive close to 10% value of the car. I know they make great exhaust but not for me at that price.

Second exhaust for our cars, that’s cool but too rich for me. Surprising that considering the complexity of a full exhaust there would be more mid-pipe only options out already.

Congrats though to the Akrapovic team!

I wouldn't mind getting just the muffler and tips. Considering I already have the ER catless downpipe, just an increase in volume w/o the link pipe isn't a bad idea....

Nobody cares about their exhaust. They should better make a nice warranty-backed piggyback for X3M.

Wow. Probably will be great, but ~$10kCAD? Definitely not in my range.

May the price be ignored, this is the best exhaust in the business.

True, but a hard pill to swallow.

All these aftermarket exhaust manufacturers should send BMW flowers, chocolates and nice card for making such a feeble-sounding stock exhaust that people are flocking to aftermarket options.

Aftermarket exhausts, especially from brands like Akra/Eisenmann/Remus, are among the most popular aftermarket options for any bimmer, incl. great sounding V8 cars like M5/X5M etc.

Akrapovic US noted that systems are arriving in late April/May, still need to confirm fitment on US vehicles.

Akrapovic states the slip-on will work on U.S cars (Non-OPF), they just need to confirm if the link pipe will work.

Well, agreed, and the SuperSprint system I had on my e60 M5 was by far my favorite mod. But that cost less than $3,000. And at least two (and possibly three) X3M's competitors sound so good that few, if any, feel the need to budget for an aftermarket exhaust, so that changes the cost calculus when comparing options.

Hopefully people hold off on rash decisions and see what else comes out soon. Car is still new and I'm am certain there will be plenty of options sooner then later they won't cost 4000$
