The 10k service should be free, the brake fluid flush at the bottom is a random ad for additional service, not something that is specific to your car, so either way, it probably isn't needed. The 10k service you should definitely do, though.

You mentioned its free service (guess still under my warranty) and if i added the brake fluid flush wondering if i would be cheaper if going to just do fluod drain elsewhwere while letting dealer to the main 10k check |

Brake fluid flush? Nah.. A paranoid person might do at 50k. Most people never do. I generally do when I change my brake pads.. since I'm there anyway.

Brake flush, as has been stated, is a rarely required item, more frequently done on older cars. I usually own cars from new for anywhere from 2 to 7 years - I have never had to have it done. So no, don't worry about that at all - not even for a "just in case, can't hurt, only helps" reason.

Additionally, as others have said, you're not due for a brake flush until three years. Basically, I would take your car in when it calls for service and anything called for (that's not wear and tear) should be covered. Good luck....

Makes sense. Seems like changing the rotors is a logical time that air might be introduced into the lines and they'd at least need to be bled.

Changing the brake rotors will not introduce any air into the system. Of course, changing the caliper will require a brake bleed.

I worked at a non BMW dealer for many years. All of these services make people feel good but in reality new cars need so little they had to come up with things like brake fluid flushes to keep the techs busy! Don't worry about it until it is time for brake pad replacement and even then not really. Of course the service advisor will try to guilt you into all kinds of important useless services.

Yes, that's right. Rotor change wouldn't have anything to do with the lines.
