Do you guys think this is a good finance deal on a 2020 X3?
1) X3 xDrive30i • MSRP $52,200 • Dealer Price $46,490 (10.9% off MSRP) • APR Discount $2,500 • Loyalty Discount $1,500 • Final Price $42,490 (18.6% off MSRP) • Interest Rate 4.35% This dealership has an interest rate special of 3.35%, not sure why the dealer increased it by 1, considering the fact that the APR discount of $2,500 is the same at both rates. I checked a dealership in Ohio to see what the interest rate is and it's at 2.99% with $1,000 APR discount. Please let me know your thoughts. Thanks! |

Can't believe you are having so many problems with the dealers. My last ordered car took less than 4 hours online to have a deal. I put 5 dealers against each other and got a deal I was happy with. I'm in Illinois though

Thanks guys, appreciate the feedback. There's also a 2020 M40i with a similar deal.
MSRP $61,200 Dealer Price $54,950 (10.2% off MSRP) Final Price after Discounts $50,950 (16.7% off MSRP) Price Difference between the two vehicles - $8,460 Now the toughest part is to decide which one to go for and whether it's worth going for the M40i with that price difference or just stick with the X3. What would you guys rather go for? |

The 30i is more than adequate. That term gets used a lot for the 30i. Had we not driven an M40i, we would have been happy as a lark with the 30i. Then we drove the 40i and money was no issue. You get the best of both worlds: comfortable GT cruiser and a monster. My wife didn't care, but I convinced her we would need the extra power for towing.

Only got to test drive the m40i briefly this morning before my son had a tantrum in the back ... But the 2 mins behind the wheel was great. Choices
They have a loaner m40i without ventilated seats, rear shades or wireless charging. Priced about the same if I do a non discounted custom order of the s30i. |

Hi Found a s30 with most of the options I want in a dealership about 250 miles away (not willing to make that drive ), but do dealerships trade courtesy vehicles? Would you still be able to get the discounts, etc?

Next car might be a tougher call on whether we need a third row or not, but a year into my lease I'm hoping we stick with what we have. |

My wife and I drove both a 30i and the M40i today. No question for us - the M40i. Smoother than the 4cyl (which was better than I expected, though); rocket-ship power (I pushed it to the max on the acceleration lane onto a nearby Interstate and found myself going 100mph before I could blink an eye); an absolute blast to drive. We had recently driven the new X5, because we are looking to replace (eventually) an E70 35d with 140,000 miles on it, but we agreed that the new X5 steering feel is terrible; it's jumped the shark for us on overall size; and it's just not as much fun as the X3 M40i.
The only downside of the M40i was a somewhat-loud exhaust note on startup. I LOVED it; my wife was less enthusiastic, but it's far less noticeable once you get underway, except in hard acceleration, where it's entirely appropriate! John C. |

Test drove the X3 m40i, X4 m40i and a s30i (none with packages I wanted).
Offered the following deal on the m40i (courtesy loaner) MSRP: $61,645. Sale price of $52,400. They upped the value on my trade in. Things I'd like and not getting (vent seats, rear manual shades, wireless charging pad -- understand this could be done myself if I wished ...) . Not big ticket items. They had another m40i without the premium pkg, but had navigation. Just lose heated steering wheel, heated seats? and comfort access? and heads up display. The comfort access is prob the only one I care about. "sale" price at 51.9k at the moment. Wondering if it would be dropped to high 40s. We tried to find it but MIA. Will add : Similar spec'd car to what I officially got an offer on about 75 miles away but has vent seats. Not sure dealership will negotiate as much, they've been pushing for me to come in and asking if I'd get an extended warranty... Last edited by lmb80; 09-24-2019 at 03:08 PM.. |

Hi, BMW financial now offers $750 credit on a 2020 M40i. And I am picking up my X3 this weekend. Everything has been signed and negotiated. But there was no discussion about any BMW discounts at the time of purchase since there were none available last month on the 2020 models.
And when negotiating I was concerned 110% on dealer discounted price. My question is how do I get my $750 credit? Do I need to contact the dealer now and ask them to apply it? Or is that something I bring up when I am picking up the car in a couple days? TIA |
