hm.. I don't have that option in my app. Difference between Android and iOS and/or engine (all/M40x)? I have version Android, version 1.27.2-4786, and 30i.

I would say it is more due to the OBD dongle you have? For some features you need the newer ones as per BimmerCode’s site

I've got a weird one.

I brought the M40i in for an oil change and now the "vehicle" displayed during the 360 camera is a 4-door sedan, not the x3 like it was the previous 18k miles.

Anyone know what bit they flipped that would cause this?

I am fluent in Expert mode...so that is the change I am seeking. I want the X3 vehicle back!

Thoughts?

Checked. It's not there

: More of the items shown are not there, and since they are (but not just) the "M xyz", I would say, it's because of the engine.

Just go back to the dealer an get them to sort it!

My issue is that I spend so much time in Bimmercode and made so many changes (because they reset SOME settings but not all) that I am not sure if I caused the problem, not them.

Btw...I think they are on to me. Oil Change on a Monday at 745. 1230 the guy visits the waiting room and says they they were still programming it. 5 hr oil change!

I have a feeling that they were documenting all the changes I had made in Bimmercode (probably 30-40 changes).

The last time I brought it in the dealer wrote a nasty-gram on the paperwork saying that I need to disconnect everything or else!

I would find a different dealer! Not only is my SA "OK" with my coding and flash tunes - he actually encourages them, and was the one who pointed me towards BM3 for my tune. When I bring the car in for service, he jokes when there's a software update and they have to reset the ECU, because he knows he's just caused me hours of recoding and reflashing.

But it is really inconvenient. I even thougnt to short the seatbelt switch, but if there is coding option - it will be the better solution.

Hey Paul,

So I found it after some ninja searching! What do I do if I only want fogs to come on and turn off with high beam? I.e. have them synchronised?

2. Click on EXPERT MODE.
3. Click on "Continue" when asked to confirm you want to "cause serious problems".
4. Scroll to "3075 LceMaster" and choose it.

5a1. Scroll to "NSW_AUS_BEI_FL" and choose it.
5a2. Change from "aktiv" to "nicht_aktiv".
5a3. Click the back arrow to return to the "3075 LceMaster" choices.

5b1. Scroll to "NSW_EIN_AUF_LDS_STL" and choose it.
5b2. Change from "nicht_aktiv" to "aktiv".
5b3. Click the back arrow to return to the "3075 LceMaster" choices.

6. Go back to the main screen and click coding.
