I coded the vehicle to start without pressing the brake pedal. It works, but I have to press the starter button twice. I don't know it this the expected behavior or not?

CAS>3000>TC_STARTLOCK_BRAKE set to: nicht_aktiv

Thanks for the conformation, I guess pressing the start button twice is not too bad, I'm getting used to it. Comes in handy when working on the engine and I need to start the car, I can just reach to press the button instead of climbing in to get a foot on the brake pedal

Now that I've used this a bit, I find that there's some adverse conditions. Say I press the start button once without starting the car, say to listen to the stereo. I'm done listing and want to shut everything off. If I press the start button again, the car will start, where before with the brake=aktiv, everything would simply turn off. Have a to weigh out which way I like better. Just though I'd share the behavior if you plan to set the car to not require the brake to be pressed to start the car.

could you send me the latest setup and coding possibilities? I haven't done it in about 1.5 years, and the main thing I want to do is to be able to hold lock to close my trunk. Would be interested to see if there have been any additional features for coding since my last time around!

Could someone be kind enough to let me know if I have the KAFAS or KAFAS2 camera? It

Picture here: https://i.redd.it/6qgerkmav1c31.jpg

Currently in a 2012 BMW X3 (F25) and I have an OBDII adapter and Bimmercode. I was considering getting a cable and e-sys to try and code SLI, LDW and FCW but before I do I want to make sure I have the necessary hardware. Do I have the KAFAS or KAFAS 2 camera? At the base of the mirror there is also a white box which I assume is for HBA. Not the white box on the side of the mirror itself used for auto dimming.

So far I've coded:

- Automatically unlock doors when engine shuts off

- Disable all warning messages on iDrive

- Activated Sports Automatic Transmission (cluster says S1, S2, etc. instead of DS now)

- Angel eyes at 100% brightness when low beams on

- Automatically turn on auto high beam assist when lights come on

- Disable driver side seat belt warning (bc if I don't have it on it's for a reason - and I am not driving on roads)

- Disabled speed limits for activating rear and side cams

SLI and FCW besides requiring KAFAS Camera requires FSC Enabling Codes before it can be coded. LDW requires Dash Switch.

Does anyone how to code the small LCD screen on KOMBI to stay in day-time mode? I hate that it switches to orange in night mode. I tried KOMBI-->3007 KI_Dimmung, 24-->DIM_NACHT_EIN-->Werte=FF and tried to switch it to nicht_aktiv and it still stays orange. Any idea?
