Can u use 2015 19" factory rims for 2012 x3 xdrive28
I have a 2012 BMW X3 xdrive28i I'd like to fit 86103 rims from the 2015/2016 x3 model which are 245/45/19" will they fit ???? It only lists as 17". 18" not 19" for the model but xdrive35i works... But it's the same body or not

I'm curious to know what the widest rim and tire combination is that is verified to fit the X3 M40i. My car came with run-flat mixed performance summer tires, though I was told by the dealer that I'd get all-seasons. Two weeks ago, we drove through a vicious snow storm in Southern Oregon, and since my car was near new (500 miles), I had just assumed the tires were as they said. NOT!!!! Car did not slip once in 4 hours, though dozens of cars and trucks were disabled on the side of the road, off the road, and smashed into the guard rail.
I have found this comparison online - first set is the stock front and rear, and the second set is the wider, potential replacement. Fit for the latter is not verified. Any help is appreciated. Diameter Tread width Rim 275/40R20 28.7" 10.8" 20 x 9-11" 315/35R20 28.7" 12.4" 20 x 10.5-12.5" 245/45R20 28.7" 9.6" 20 x 7.5-9" 275/40R20 28.7" 10.8" 20 x 9-11" |

Looks good - are those the BBs CH-R rims? Was looking at those long and hard before I found the ones I've got on there now

aftermarket tires
Hey, needed to do a first reply to fully activate account, but just happens to be that i have aftermarket tires on my bmw right now. My goal was to get a more aggressive and offroad look from the car so i was looking for the biggest wheels i could fit in. The tires I got are 245/65/17. They look amazing on the car, and make it look really buff, and cost me 280 with mount and balance. also put on 2" spacers on all the wheels, with the 5x4.75 lug patter, which fits in perfectly. did have to hammer in two little corners of the frame that stuck out inside the wheel well, but after that, I have these 29.5 inch tires in here and looking to lift it too maybe.
