Geez ~$2350 for 21" wheels and $2160 for M sport seats without comp pack. $1000 for carbon trim. I sincerely hope those option prices won't translate to stateside. Anyone with ideas how much the difference might be? If we compare comp pack, our price is 65% of Swiss price.

Tartfuo interior shows as $0 cost with the competition pack even though it’s an individual color. Anyone know if this is correct and what to expect for the US?

For example the individual interior with the alcantara isn't even an option for the X3M on the Swiss site.

Thanks for sharing, Hedoniste. Here's our build - X3M Comp, Sapphire Black, Black merino, CF interior trim, no roof rails, no heavy moon roof, and iDrive 7.0 in August

I'm presuming $1000 for 21" wheels, $1500 for Merino M seats ($1800 for two tone with alcantara), and $1500 for exhaust. I can't imagine those options will cost any less on the base model so might as well just add another $3k and get the full comp pack for increased power, some sort of suspension upgrade, and blacked out exterior trim. I don't think I would buy the X3M without those parts so comp pack makes most sense to me I guess. I don't care about the power and suspension upgrades though.

Screen captures helped me compare the exterior colors and trims while I was on the Configurator, so thought I'd share in case others may wish to see as well. It appears Toronto Red isn't functional on the site yet. Also, when one deletes the rails on the X4M the sublayer matches the paint color, whereas on the X3M it still shows as black - suspect that is a software glitch as it should revert to the paint color which looks much cleaner and sleeker as shown on the X4M.

Agreed. That's how I feel about other uber performance SUVs like glc63(at least that has a v8). Especially with the new m3 likely coming with optional awd I see even less reasons to get this over m3 which will handle much better in either base or competition form. Please BMW, give us M3 touring (wagon) instead! I will even accept a slightly raised version (and call it cross-country) so more people would buy it.

Was there any further clarification regarding the weight of this vehicle? Does deletion of the moon roof (is this an option? There were conflicting reports that it couldn't be removed in some regions.) bring the weight right down or are these vehicles indeed just much heavier than the M40i versions?
