I noticed this today when the sun shined on my dash board just right and I was able to see a faint unlit 'MDM' light. After shining my phone light on the dash I did confirm that it was an MDM light.

Now I am not sure if this is a feature that could potentially be coded in or just comes down to it being a shared dash. However, I have not seen an M car with a similar looking dashboard to the X3.

Wondering if anyone else has seen this light or could explain why it is there? Just some food for thought but I'd love to see an X3 with MDM (Just ignore that its AWD you keyboard warriors)
