great, I was surprised to not see this thread here, in all car forums those thread are very popular.
I put fresh oil, liqui moly leichtlauf , and Ive reseted the service time. Is it real life, they said 21 000km between oil changes? (13 000 mi) |

Mines says 20,000kms as well. Next oil change in 2020 LMAO, but I like to do a yearly oil change.

I borrowed a set of wheels and tires off a friends X5 to try on and see if it solved my hesitation since I know my winters fix it, but I wanted to see if a different set of staggered tires still solved it. I was also always curious if the X5 wheels/tires....and they almost did. They fit well enough to quickly test for the hesitation, but the fronts rubbed a tiny bit.But if you put on a small spacer they would likely be ok. And the 315's out back looked really mean.

looking also for new wheels.
I believe stagered set would be just fine, since europe got this kind of setup. I can't decide yet if I keep the OEM one for the winter and get a nice 20'' set for summer. Or keep the OEM for the summer and get a cheap 18 or 19'' set for winter... |

I should've taken pics but I was in a hurry. It was not tough though. The diffuser is just a few 8mm hex bolts and some fasteners you can pop out with a screwdriver. Just be careful with the parking sensors. What I did was make a template of the oem cutout with a piece of cardboard. I then traced it with marker on the opposite side, measuring at each point to make sure it was identical. I used a dremel cutting tool to roughly cut the shape, leaving about a half inch of margin. Then I used the sanding tool to even it out. Finally I used some finishing sandpaper to get it smooth. It really was much easier than I thought.

Got the exhaust hooked up today. Exhaust tips from an X6 50i and a magnaflow muffler. Tips are a bit crooked unfortunately, there was some miscommunication but they're gonna straighten it out this weekend. Sounds good, I thought it'd be a bit louder but I'd rather it be too quiet than too loud. Very happy overall.

Tip of the day: if you want to have "real nice exhausts" - looks AND sound - there is M Performance exhaust for X4. You need to do some trimming on RH side. Two way sound - legal and illegal - operated by Bluetooth.

275's seem like a lot on the front. The backs didnt rub at all. The fronts actually just barely touched the struts as soon as they went on the vehicle. It could be those specific tires, it could be those wheels, Im not sure, but if you put on a small spacer it would likely get rid of the problem. They didnt seem to rub when turning actually.
