In 2011, staggered 19" 309s on Continental CSC were available at launch with SAP only. It was the only way to get max summer performance tires and no decrease in top speed. There was no M-Sport available when the F25 was first released. In my location, SAP was also offered with a 18" non-staggered (RFTs) set-up with all-season tires only and decreased top speed limiter. Three months later the M-Sport trim was available that took on the SAP role in regards to increased speed limiter, staggered set-up, aero kit etc. 309s were still available in future trims but not as a staggered set-up. M-Sport used staggered 19" 369Ms that went square sometime before the LCI was released in 2015. SAP was discontinued in 2013. IMO, Adaptive M Suspension is a must have...especially coming from DHP. http://x3.xbimmers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1425449 The 2011 X3 35i SAP was my first BMW and an awesome ride. Took a huge gamble and pre-ordered. Had the first F25 in my area. At the time, there was no other SAV that came close. Took the same gamble again with the X4 M40i as the starting point. The 2018 X3 M40i brings the same kind of excitement as the F25 SAP did in 2011.
