Would these wheels fit a M40i?
Hi guys
Looking for a set of winter wheels for the M40. I have identified the following where’s which the seller is saying will fit. But as this isnt really my most knowledgable area, was looking for some views. Link to sellers eBay details and full wheel spec: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Alloy-Whe...-/312072400349 In terms of my knowledge. Car coming with 699M wheels. Offset seems to be ET27 - offset of the ones I am looking at are ET35 - is this an issue? I do not want to be adding spacers. The pitch centre diameter is the same at 5 / 112 Rim width on 699M is 8J front and 9.5J rear. These ones are 8J all round. So not a problem hopefully! I will need to add TPMS sensors as well. But wanted to see if the wheels would fit! For information, I am looking at 20 inch wheels as there are far more tyre options in the UK and I can put on the Vredstein Wintrac Exteme’s which have not let me down for years! Thanks in advance. |

Based off the all the specs you provided yes they should be perfectly fine. The only thing I would try to confirm is that the CB (center bore) is 66.6. If it's greater than that that's fine too, you may just need hubcentric rings. It just can't be smaller.
