N52 tuning
I just purchased a 2011 X3 with the N52 engine. I was wondering if there was a tune to help boost performance. I understand it is de tuned compaired to my E83 with N52 and was wanting to get some of the power back.
Thanks, Michael |

I haven't seen one yet since the engine is N/A and you can't play with boost. I thought I saw a company in the south that boasted a tune for it but I don't recall who exactly. I'd imagine fuel trim/maps and some timing might help so I guess I'll keep an eye on this thread

Same engine that was used in the e90 as well... lots more of those sold (and my wife drove one for 6 years). I've only done a bit of research, but there isnt a lot you can do. Turbo engines are much easier to add "quick HP" (tuning, chips, etc.).
