Bmw X4 Mods -
Hey there. We have a 2015 X4 28i M series - Alpine White.. Staggered 20 in rims OEM
So far current Mods are - -Black Kidney Grill With M Badging -Alpine white front bumper plugs to fill Licene plate holes -Debadged entire car, and added BLACK M Logos -Painted Side Accents Black (still chrome in picture) -Rear spoiler - To be painted gloss black Future Mods- - AC Schnizter Lowering springs (up to 30mm) but depending on if i go with a little taller tire i might not do this - THOUGHTS? -12 mm Spacers in front with 275/40/20 tires (+1.2in width, +1in diameter) -25 mm Spacers in rear with 315/35/20 tires (+1.6in width, +1in diameter) (not sure if the tires are going to fit) - Wife got rear-ended so im buying a M40i rear bumper painted all white -AC Shnitzer front Valance - AC Shnitzer Rear Valance Painted Gloss Black - Painting Roof gloss Black - Painting Chrome around Rear BMW Gloss Black - Possible Dinantron Tuner (expensive and seems complex) Couple of questions - i have only been able to find the AC Schnitzer stuff on Ebay - how do you order from their website? Also, what is the bumper AC Schnitzer has in their photo with the dual exaust holes, im def going to paint mine all white, and do the lower center valance gloss black I just noticed if i buy the M40 bumper the AC Schnitzer valance wont fit - thoughts? I really want to buy the bumper they have since it has room for dual exhaust with dual tips.. Any thoughts on tire fitment or other mods? Picture 1 Picture 2 Picture 3 This is the rear bumper setup i want, but with the lower center valance painted gloss black ... Anyone know what bumper this is with dual exhaust cutouts? I want this bumper Last edited by berrmann; 02-11-2017 at 03:50 PM.. |

BMAN,
I haven't seen such extensive mod'ing. I think you'll be plowing new ground for those of us in this forum. Have you found other sources to help? I'd like to follow your progress. Thanks. Duke

I will be doing a Gloss Vinyl on the roof.. Good call.. I just ordered the Front and Rear AC Shnitzer valance with the springs, and 12mm Spacers in from 25 in back. Got everything alot cheaper on RG Sport Im going to have the springs and spacers put on first.. ill update once i get that done.. |

Very similar to my car - 28i, alpine white, 20" OEM 310s. Modificaitons so far:
Tint Debadge Gloss black roof Gloss black grills Aluminum pedals Ferric gray side mirrors from the M40i Racechip tune Adding a drop + spacers (12mm front/15mm rear) in the next month or two. I don't think you're going to be able to fit a tire that wide on the OEM wheel, but let us know how it goes. I'm definitely interested in running something wider out back, but am undecided about new wheels. I'd also like to figure out how to get the front air intake elements from an m40i and retrofit. Really interested in seeing the ACS parts once you have them installed - the price has been keeping me from pulling the trigger. Good call on painting the rear valence black. The reason the bumper has dual cutouts is because they added an extra cutout to accommodate the quad exhaust. If you look over at the X3 forums, a few people have done something similar. Another option might be getting an M40i diffuser, which is probably a direct fit into the existing bumper. I also wanted dual exhaust but after looking into it, it seems like more trouble than it's worth, especially since the sound doesn't get much better. I'll probably settle for more aggressive exhaust tips instead. But keep us updated on what you decide. Last edited by 335iAP; 02-14-2017 at 11:58 AM.. |

I just bought a CTS Turbo front mount intercooler; saw another member in a different forum who added one to his X3 35i.
No more heatsoak

Ok.. so far I have installed the spacers and they look great... Once I get the springs on I will re-adress the tire size and figment.. Def do a wider tire in the back.
Photos are with spacer installed on rear driver and not on the passenger side. https://www.dropbox.com/s/97x86mr2io..._1330.JPG?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/podfkohd4v..._1331.JPG?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/ndnvbyfeqa..._1332.JPG?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/3s9lyla5r5..._1334.JPG?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/iimcjzgop6..._1335.JPG?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/99dx04isst..._1336.JPG?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/nkmsal0jwj..._1337.JPG?dl=0 Got the AC Shnitzer parts all in...
