Halogen Headlight Q / options?
I have a 2013 X3 with the base halogen headlights.
They are simply the worst headlights I have ever had. Ever. They make the poor headlights on my 07 E90 seem decent. I have upgraded the bulbs with Philips - X-Treme Vision H7. They are better than what the car came with . . . Any other cost effective upgrade options out there? |

http://x3.xbimmers.com/forums/showth...1287939&page=2 Surely they are not that bad? It appears that many find them adequate and not worth spending money on the upgrade. Not my words might I add. I had the same experience with my 2012 F31 320d Sport. In the end I took it to a BMW garage and they changed the bulbs over for me because the F31 has quite inaccessible bulbs. I supplied the Philips X-Treme Vision H7 bulbs. It made some difference, but not enough. At the same time I fitted the Philips X-Treme Vision H7 bulbs to my wife's little SEAT Ibiza 1.4 SC. They made quite a difference, so we put it down to the headlight reflector shape and properties. Worth noting. I had the stock Halogen candle headlights on my BMW 2007 E91 325d and they were not as bad as the later F31. Previously I had a 2005 BMW 120d. I do not remember them being that bad.
