Hey. BMW designers. About those ever-larger "kidney" grilles.
Let the Ford Edsel be your warning from history:

Those boys and girls in Stuttgart ain't playin with y'all. They're currently testing a GLC63AMG so BMW had better come good with this.

I was sure hoping it would be the first "M" with a J1772 plug on it. I guess it could still be possible but they usually put "hybrid test vehicle" on the PHEV's, even in camo.

Honestly of all the M suvs, this is the one they should make. This better be a real M, not something like the X4 M40i. S63 would be nice, since the GLC63 is coming with the 4.0L V8tt.

The RS6 Avant and AMG E63 wagon beg to differ. They may not sell in huge volumes, but enough for there to be a business case for VAG & MB to make them.
I'd trade my F80 M3 in for a significant loss if they made a wagon variant of it, particularly with AWD. S55 in a wagon with AWD? Take my money!

X1 and X2 M Performance will be coming soon. However, they will still use an I4. Don't expect any engine with more cylinders than that to find its way into a UKL vehicle.
