Hello X3 community!
Just placed my order for an X3 (2.0d, xLine, Saphireschwarz) at my local dealer here in Switzerland. He initially informed me from a potential delivery date of mid August. I called the dealer today, and he has told me that the production window is KW 31, and about 6 weeks for shipping and arrival in Switzerland. Does anyone have insight into how long it takes from production to shipping & delivery (Switzerland)? Furthermore, is it possible to track the production through an online platform? I've read about bmwusa.com having a tracking tool, but my order number returns nothing in the search. Thanks! Edit: Do you know if the x3 (NaviProfi, HUD) has the black panel instrument panel? Welcome here.
Ask the VIN number from your dealer. You could track and trace your X3 at: http://www.2wglobal.com/ https://www.2wglobal.com/webapps?fra...uickSearchPage however, sometimes it never shows up (like mine)....

http://www.bmw.com/com/en/newvehicle...t_display.html I lived in Adliswil (ZH) for several years and still have wonderful memories of my time in Switzerland. Enjoy your X3. Last edited by MichiganMike; 03-31-2016 at 10:47 AM.. |

IDrive 5 has a touch pad ontop of the rotary controller. I use it all the time to trace out letters & numbers with my finger for sat nav as an example. It's quicker than spinning the controller.

iDrive 4.2 also has the touch pad on the controller, however from what I saw in Geneva this year, iDrive 5 has a different interface and the controller is different (still touch pad, different button configuration, more premium looking.
http://www.caradvice.com.au/379221/b...ve-5-0-review/ So if I understand correctly, the X3 from KW31 will get the new system, minus the touch screen functionality. |
