Fellow M40i owners, I just ran my 7 vin on bmwvin.com and my car's production date is 03-03-2016 how about yours?

Start of Prod: 2/26/16
End of Prod: 3/03/16
Dealership: 3/8/16
Ownership: 3/10/16

MY16 build is:
- LBB
- Mocha (i should had gotten saddle brown)
- Fineline
- Driver Assist plus
- Lightning pkg
- Technology pkg
- 20' M MPSS
- heated front seats
- rearview cam
4yr warranty and maintenance = MY16 goodies
$67,545 MSRP (Def not what I paid )

Mine was built 2/1/16. Sucks you can't get the Driver Assist package with the Cold Weather package. I needed the rear seat heaters for my kids. Congrats!!

My production date was 2/24/2016. She's on a boat somewhere on the Atlantic right now. I ordered white with black interior, and it's loaded minus The Cold Weather Pack (I really wanted the heated steering wheel too ).

My car has a production date of February 5th.
As for the options, I had posted this in another thread:

Color: Long Beach blue, fineline anthracite trim, ivory seats with red stitching.
Packages: executive and premium.
Options: speed limit info, storage compartment package, the 20" wheels.

The US packages may not match the Canadian ones.... But basically just about everything except the technology package which had surround view, driving assistant and blind spot detection. And I did not get the smoker's package, headlight washers, convenience telephony with extended smartphone connectivity.

Ggalanis your in Canada too I assume? Same here i got the exact same thing as but you in Carbon Black and mocha interior. Seems like the Canada offers a better package system than the US, yeah the Tech package, you can definitely survive without. My dealer doesnt have the vin yet ;(

Yes, I'm from the Montreal area.
The only thing I actually would not mind having from the tech package is the surround view. But the front bumper camera was in a very noticeable spot and made the front ugly IMHO. The adaptive cruise control would have been nice too but again, the front looks bad with that option IMHO. These features would be in the "nice to have" group for me, but I would not pay a cent to get them. I don't drive distracted, I always check blind spots, I do not drive it in daily traffic conditions.

Ask them what your production week is. They may not have an actual production slot for you.

Those that can't live with wheel gaps will not like the M40i as it is stock.
The wheel gap is HUGE on this car.

Picked it up at 7pm yesterday OMG OMG !!!! The initial start up in Comfort was what I needed to hear to re-assure me it was the start of a great experience. As soon (immediately) you switch modes to Sport+ , the exhaust opens up and you can hear it from the driver seat and it growls!
