I'll believe it when I see it. Seems silly to release the X4 M40i at the end of 2015 and then turn around and release a full blown M model less then a year later.
One good thing about an X3M is it gives them a chance to fix the M Sport front end. I still don't think we'll see M variants until the 3rd gen G01s hit in 2017. http://www.bmwblog.com/2014/11/02/g0...m-arrive-2017/

Looks promising for 2017! Long way off for me though!! I'm without car and doesn't make sense to get current gen x3 then want to trade up in two years.

That does look good! Please build it BMW and drop in the S55. I am likely ordering an M3 this year but wouldn't mind coming back to an X3M a couple/few years later. Not sure I can wait for this to come out (if it comes out at all) before I switch up.
With Audi, MB and Porsche vying for the high performance end of this market, you know BMW has to consider producing a competing model. |
