Uk Dealer Tyre Prices
Just got a great Christmas Day present, a puncture on the front offside. It's a screw which is in the middle of the tread section so it could be plugged. However the car now has 23k on it so the fronts are pretty much ready to be replaced. My question is have any of you used dealers to supply and fit tyres or are companies such as Black Circles more cheaper? I intend replacing the tyres like for like so it will be Pirelli Pzero RFT 245/45/R19 98Y. Comments appreciated.

My local dealer has a price match promise .. I've always found them willing to haggle
I just do some online pricing and then ring them and nearly always they are there or thereabouts ... And I always get a free valet from them Mytyres are based in France I believe and oponeo in Germany ... So you need to find someone to fit them in uk

Thanks for that, BMW dealership ended up cheapest at £228 each for fronts, Pirelli Pzero 245 45 R19. The concept of RFT is good but lack of popularity certainly drives prices and availability in the wrong direction for us customers. Hardly any tyre specialists stock them although I did manage to get availability at Kwik Fit at a slightly dearer price.

Ouch - a reminder of the benefits of a company car. Had all 4 tyres replaced on my last X3 just before it went back. Never crossed my mind that this was something like a grand's worth of tyres.

Yes, and that was the cheaper front ones!! Makes you wonder about the BMW tyre insurance, could be worth it after all. Mind you I cant complain too much as they still had legal tread on them at 23k miles on the clock. I'll be dreading hearing that ding sound from the information display in case it gives me more bad news.
