Wont come close to the macan dynamically. Nor in interior quality, as it will be the same as the X3 LCI..actually thats just a X3 with a sloping roof line. I'd go for a macan all day long..

We'll see if I hold out with the e90 a while longer for one...or if I'm disappointed enough just to get an X1.

That's like saying you'd go for a Carrera over a 435. Diff price bracket

I'm willing to bet that a X4 w/ Msport and some options on will hit the macan price bracket easily. |

Yep. I sat in the Macan at the LA Auto show. It's beautiful inside and out. It's not small. Like all Porsches, it has an attractive base price that spirals out of control once you add a few options. As a bonafied BMW fanboy I hate to admit it but the Macan is light-years better looking than the X4.

Based on the x5 to x6 ratio the X4 should be 20 cu ft. But based on roof lines the x4 should have a decent amount more floor space which is what matters in 90% of cargo hauls. Not many people stack their SUV trunks to the ceiling too often.

Yeah the Macan is just in a different league. Of course it cost a little more. But if someone is looking at a X4 35i with M-sport. A comparable Macan maybe another $3-4k more, tops. Money very well spent. |

Wow that's a lot of love for the Macan. Must say it did look good. I loved the X4 concept and the aggressiveness but my fear is much of that will be lost into production
