Tire and Wheel Warranty
I have a slow leak in my 2012 X3 right rear tire. I purchased the tire and wheel warranty when i purchased the car. The car originally came with Bridgestone Duelers which my dealer and BMW say are on back order for the next 6 weeks. They offered to put on a Pirelli on in the interim and replace it with a Bridgestone when it becomes available. I just checked TireRack and they have the tire in stock. I'm going to suggest to the dealer that he order the tire from Tirerack.
What would you do in this case? |

I don't think TireRack will sell the tires to your dealer at wholesale price. Personally, I don't like to mix and match different tire thread patterns. I would ask the dealer to replace all 4 tires with Pirelli until the Bridgestone comes in, or call around different dealer to see who has it in stock.

You need to have same tyres are each axle so at least they need to supply the pair...

The only similarity between the P Zeros on your X3 and the ones on the Mclaren is that they are made by Pirelli and they are both round. That's pretty much where the similarities stop.
