Goodbye X3 and BMW
It is time to replace my X3 after nearly 3 years (ordering new car today)
X3 has been great, a little too agricultural from the 20d but great! No major issues after 42k miles and averaging 34.2mpg with a heavy right foot. Cream leather still looks great and car in great condition. So time for a change and I have decided to go to the dark side and hope to order a Audi A7 3.0 Quattro. Any thoughts or experiences with the A7 or Quattro?

Mines 3 years old end of year so starting the looking around stage. I sat in an A7 when they first came out so may take another look too. Also new X5 a possibility, depends on the deals.

Will be interested to hear what PX you get for it.
We are getting 37mpg over 21K so far - but yes it performs great. Quattro is the same as X (4 wheel drive) it works fine.

Is this change for change sake? I've had my X3 30d for 18 months and have not seen anything that I would want to change it to.
Perhaps a X3 LCI 30d or 35d might be a good match? |

The quattro is amazing. I have the A4 and I find it a much more planted than the X3. Granted the Audi is not as fun as BMW but it's still able to come to its own on the track
I have a 2010 and I can only expect Audi to get better at their driving dynamics |

I had a C7 A6, the A7 is a beautiful car. Its got plenty of power and handles well, the steering is not as nice as the BMW's but everything else is on par with BMW if not better.
