My recent canadian service
Hi,
I recently took my 2013 28i X3 into service due to a low coolant light warning (@14k km). So I thought I would ask the advisor to do the following: - Update ASS so to store "last use" setting --> Advisor respond saying specifically BMW has instructed them not to do update for X3. so negative nothing can be done - I have seen warning "Chassis Stabalization Malfunction" twice, so I asked the advisor to see if they can pull history and see whats wrong ---> advisor said they ran a check and everything is ok (the ran a maintenance scope/reset CBS... that's what it said on invoice) - Asked if the sport mode can be program to last use ---> respond no.... this is probably the only one I agree As side question to the forum here: - I believe there is no close trunk from key fob is this right? - The parktronics seems to sometimes work and sometimes don't. Sometimes it will not show distance after I parked . Is this because it only activates itself at low speed.... and yes I sometimes park fast with head in . - Also does the headlight suppose to swivel.... never seen that happen... think my C300 is more obvious Thanks in advance ... I am located in Toronto. |

Next time if you see "Chassis Stabalization Malfunction" error, you should drive your xar directly to the dealership and show them the error...... I have those errors couple of times and they finally fixed that after I drove to them directly without shutting down the car.....

Just a matter of coding. Mine works for opening and closing.
Quote:
Swivels. Side to side (when turning your steering wheel) and up and down (on startup). But only on Xenons. |

I believe that the Up/Down is a standard function on the Xenos.
BUT The Swivel (side to side) with the steering wheel is normally as an option. (maybe included in a pack or something) |

The Canadian x3 only get auto leveling not side to side like other markets. I'm looking into a coding solution to this 'made for Canada' oversight.

SIB 12 15 12 This is the bulletin for autostart/stop so this is not allowed to applied to the X3? how about the throttle lag one (that applies only to pre2013 model only?)
On a side note , I wish they are more explicit in terms of what's incl in the canadian version... I thought swivel is always standard with the package... |

minor correction. In the Canadian market the 35i does come with auto levelling but not swivelling headlights.
