Plain Black Steelies for Winter?
Does anyone know of a supplier for plain black steel wheels for 17-18" for Winter? Not loving the idea of giving BMW another $3000 for a set of winter rims....Steel should work fine no?

Or you can go to **********s.com. I talked to Jurrian over there and got some high quality 18" wheels (forged CSL replicas) with the Michelin Winter RFT rubber. Cost me way less than the BMW OE 18" option with the (likely equal performing) less expensive Pirelli RFT tires.
Seems like sacrelidge to put black steelies on a nice X3. Oh yeah... and remember that you do not need the TPMS sensors for the Canadian X3 because it uses the wheel speed sensors for flat tire detection, not the direct sensors that the US vehicles use. |

The black steelies are like a badge of honor... ya can pick out the drivers with proper winter rubber.

Are these CSL replicas from **********s safe enough? Many times I've heard about bad quality of replica wheels. Can someone explain which replicas are good and which are bad?
