Finally got pictures: X3 35d M Sport space gray
I finally got the pictures done - please comment!
All I can say is that the X3 is a hell of a car. I have about every option possible except for the sunroof and the speed sign/limit recognition. I do not miss the sunroof but wish I had opted for the speed sign/limit thing. It would come in handy here in Switzerland. She is broken-in (3,000kms) and took her to Germany last weekend ... the 35d is a peach |

Ya, I'm another Canadian envious of you 35D. ... although I do love my 35i just the same.

Very nice! Congrats and enjoy in good health as we say over here...
Love space gray - had it on a 550 and it looks great on X3 too. Best of all worlds - great to look at and easy to clean.. Wish we had the 35d here in the states

I never tire of seeing the pics of people's new cars.
I am warming to the m sport and it looks great in space grey. Great choice. I am going to have to give mine a wax and feed it some more carrots so hopefully the engine will grow to be that big!! There is so much space in the engine bay with the 20d engine! |

Thanks guys! I must admit the 35d is extraordinary, and gets fantastic mileage.
I think people in the US and Canada will one day discover how great diesel power is, and will demand them from their importers. I'm an American in Switzerland and I swore I would never drive a diesel. I then tried out a 330d and was converted. This is now my 3rd BMW diesel - 330d; 335d, X3 35d - and I can say that, in my opinion, it's the best way to go, especially on large vehicles such as the X3 and above. |
