3.0 D engine
I am an owner of a 2006 3 litre diesel turbo x3 (build late 2005) I would like to know is there a difference in the turbo engines to the later models and the new model?
I'm under the impression i have a single turbo but someone told me the new ones are twin turbos, or are they all "twin scroll" turbos? |

The F35 is a twin scroll turbo I believe.
Update: yes yours is a single turbo same as mine. You can remap the ECU to get similar power and torque to the stock SD but you will still have some lag from a standing start unlike the SD.
