2nd Gen X3 Size Comparison vs X6
I've heard a few folks on the X3 forums who want to see the 2nd Gen in a " real life " size comparison vs the current X5.All of the size comparisons so far for the 2nd Gen X3 have been against the current X3. Could not deliver the X5 but a few pic's with an X6 and a couple of Fords.Enjoy and Thanks. PalBay

I agree the X6 is huge on a outward appearance. However I will say that seeing the X6 along side the new X3, it is really apparant that the X6 has some really sexy, smooth, rounded lines, it really flows nicely from the front view, the rear though for me on the X6 is just huge.
What I don't like about this side by side is how the new X3 doesn't seem current and fresh, it's much better looking than the previous design but with all this tape it still seems a tab bit boxy in the rear, I mean looking at the X6 you see the way it flows smoother, has a wider stance, almost sportier headlight and kidney grills than how the new X3 looks. Maybe the X3 will look better once all the tape is off but the new X3 design definately doesn't have that "wow" factor like it should with a whole new design. |

x6 is more of a "niche" vehicle, x3 needs to be more "conservative."
can't wait to see the un-camouflaged next generation x3!

Am quite sure they will make an x4 (I heard it few months ago), then the comparison btw x6 would be even more appropriate. Still, great pics! As I am planning to buy a new x3 any pics are a trip to see.

I was expecting much more of interior but it seems that BMW just don't give a damn about it. Everything is almost same as X5. Overall grade for interior 5/10. |

IF they want their market back, it all comes down to pricing!
The next x3 appears to be somewhat bland on the outside... SAFE is the word.
It will however be a true drivers car w/the N55 w/the 8 speed gearbox.. |
