fyi...oil analysis results

Just received results from Blackstone Labs on sample of oil I sent for analysis- see attached.

Car is 2012 X3 with 6 cyl. non-turbo motor (N52).
66K miles on the car; 7K oil change interval.
Oil: Castrol 0W40 Euro Blend

(Castrol has titanium additive, thus the analysis shows 'high' level of this element)

Thanks for sharing. Seems like you N52 is in great shape. Too bad BMW moved away from the NA straight 6.

What did they say could be the source for the excessive titanium?
