Hi Shawn,
Trying to code some modules on a 2016 M4. I get an error code "file for "cafd_00000794-014_040_152" not found! [C012]" when I try to read the CAFD from certain modules. Am I doing something wrong here or are my files outdated? I have v.55.1_PSdZData_lite and ESysLauncherPremiumSetup_1.0.7.
Also am using F020 target files, not sure if that is correct either. Appreciate any advice you can give me.

Could use a little help.. I think I was in my KOMBI CAFD when this happened... I lost my Compass via BC and the "startup screen" for the NBT no longer shows any animation, it just launches right into the Navi. Would like to get that M animation back.

I backed up (2x) my original FA & SVT so I could restore original if needed, but I'm not sure how this is done. Coding my F30 seemed a lot easier. There were more comprehensive cheat sheets to rely on.

Hi,

When I try to connect, no "target selector" comes up in the E-SYS connector dialog. I do see my VIN number in the "connect VIA VIN". The "connect" button does not highlite to allow me to press. I have disabled firewall and anti-virus.

Any idea what might be the problem?

If the "Open Connection" window under "Target" is empty (no targets), verify the following:

1. That the "psdzdata" folder is installed properly (From the PSdZData_Lite or PSdZData_Full extraction, copy the "psdzdata" folder to "C:\Data\" (i.e. "C:\Data\psdzdata")
   
2. That the psdzdata chassis folders each have an empty "dist" folder. Make sure that there is an empty "dist" folder in each of the psdzdata chassis folders, and if missing, create as needed, e.g.:
   • C:\Data\psdzdata\mainseries\F001\F001_xx_xx_xxx\od x\dist
   • C:\Data\psdzdata\mainseries\F010\F010_xx_xx_xxx\od x\dist
   • C:\Data\psdzdata\mainseries\F020\F020_xx_xx_xxx\od x\dist
   • C:\Data\psdzdata\mainseries\F025\F025_xx_xx_xxx\od x\dist
   • C:\Data\psdzdata\mainseries\F056\F056_xx_xx_xxx\od x\dist
   • C:\Data\psdzdata\mainseries\I001\I001_xx_xx_xxx\od x\dist
   • C:\Data\psdzdata\mainseries\K001\K001_xx_xx_xxx\od x\dist
   • C:\Data\psdzdata\mainseries\KE01\KE01_xx_xx_xxx\od x\dist

3. The the E-Sys "Options" => "Settings" => "Directories => Data: path" is set properly (e.g. "C:\Data")

Thanks! After uninstalling everything and reinstalling, it worked. I must have missed a step in the install process the first time.

Coded up the anti-dazzle lights. Seems to work (however, street lighting is too bright around here to know for sure).

I got my compass back. It was easy in the KOMBI FDL.

I wonder why the compass can't be displayed full time, it's not like the space on the KOMBI screen is doing anything else while compass is not selected. Any ideas.??

Working on my 2016 F25, tried the following to remove the Seat Belt Reminders;

ACSM Module:

SeatBelt Reminder Lights OFF: set all to nicht_aktiv

3000Gurtzustandsanzeige_Fahrer_GFW_GZA_FA

Disable Welcome 3 Gongs:
3000  Initialwarnung_GWF_IW set to: nicht_aktiv

SeatBelt Reminders/Sound OFF: set all to nicht_aktiv
3000SBR_PreWarning_Fahrer
3000SBR_PreWarning_Beifahrer
3000SeatBeltReminder_SBR_Fahrer
3000 SeatBeltReminder_SBR_Beifahrer

When I "Code FDL" I get the following error;

"cdDeploy FinishedwithError"
"cafd_00000909-004_003_007NotExecutable"

I think BMW may have locked this module down for legal reasons? Anyone know a workaround?

Hi,

I'm attemting the halogen to LCI ECE Bi-Xenon retrofit and as many People strugling with wiring and coding....

So far I have rewired some ground pins (missing in orig. halogen harness)
and tested the headlight (FRM modul seem to have options for both halogen/Xenon-the same oem Hardware number).

My particulart Problem is that everything except engel eyes works...
Xenon bulb, high beam shutter, side marker....i guess those are activated by Standard analog signal (voltage +12V)

Is it possible that engel eyes are controlled through some digital Input Signal (0,1) or there is some Special coding needed to bring them in?
Or should i code out autolleveling (i dont have it now), and how?

I guess the pin for DRL/TFL is the same pin for both halogen/Xenon.

ICM module. Sections are meaningless, and should not be posted. They change from CAFD versions. Just use the Search Bar for the FDL to search entire CAFD for it by name.

I gathered a few lists and would like to update the list on this page. Is it open for editing?
I have 3 lists now that could make up one bigger/improved list.

Anyway, I always missed my E90 "Rest" feature (Residual Heat, when car is off it blows hot air in cabin, so you can shut off the engine and come back to a warm car) on my X3 F25.

So tonight I just coded it to work.
The "All" button functions as REST now (but I lost the ALL ability, I cannot synchronize both temps as I used to. No problem for me, as I never understood the reason for it to exist).

Here's the code shared with the community:

Do you have PSTZDATA54.2? 57.2 won't work for fembody module.
