I’d just grab your own roll and cut it yourself. It looks cool with the faux stitching, but you could easily get that done at a local tailor for cheap. It’ll turn out much cleaner imo (you’ll have leftover material for those sun visors)

Yes but at $7 for something which is also cut perfectly, its way easier than messing around trying to do it yourself IMHO

I washed the car and waxed all the inner door and body parts that are hidden when the doors are closed.

I’m glad you enjoy it, but anything mass produced is not going to be “perfect”. It definitely has some off points around the edges of trim for the lighting and that would bother me.

Ok ok, i see. Actually it was Aliexpress. Back in your box Lieutenant, let the enlisted guys do the real work. Grab yourself a map and compass and run along, there's a good Rupert. Didn't ask for your opinion, but seeing as you are hell bent on giving it you sure as heck can't take it back lol.

I didn’t get the “Rupert” reference and I’m usually pretty good at this sort of thing

Rupert is a nickname for an Officer. If you've been in the military as long as me, you'll pick up a thing or two. Ive cross trained with lots of countries and a lot with British Army units 😉

Thank you for that 😬

All of my time was spent with HFD; none in the military

My only experience with Brit Officers is Group Captain Lionel Mandrake from Dr Strangelove; on my short list of “best films ever”

Love to see it. Antagonize and retreat lol you took upon yourself to engage a comment I made to another member about an alternative option. Passive aggressive behavior is known to elevate blood pressure you know!

No one in the above conversation is taking into account the varying DIY abilities of our members

There are guys here who genuinely astonish me (charge pipe swap in 1-2 hrs…installation of lowering springs at home…the guy here recently who did a 💯🏆💯 wrap job on his ride)

Personally, I’m more of a hack. I’ve tested myself w/ the many mods I’ve done thus far, but most of them required me texting or calling Burr001 for help w/ issues that inevitably arose. It’s crazy how many jobs he’s guided me through from 4956 miles away

Re the item in question, it’s highly unlikely that I could turn out a finished product of better quality than what’s available on Ali. I know my limitations. There are of course members here who could reupholster their entire car in a weekend without breaking a sweat

This forum needs both types of guys ☮️
