GT
Looks like a GT that everyone said was ugly. If you can't afford a GT just say so, If this thing get's priced at 40K and everyone loves it then it explains the GT bashing.
I'll take my cavernous GT over this high end Mini any day. |

I am not bashing the GT, i'd be much happier if the GT and the Touring were sold side by side in 3 series and 5 series in the US. I am bashing the demise of the touring in the US, but thats the fault of us American's and our stupid brady bunch stigma about wagons. I did my part once, bought an E91.
besides, if it was all about money, we'd all be driving 760iL anyway... and have a gas truck following us everywhere. i'll take mine in deep sea blue some of us wonder why so many models, but perhaps an answer is there is a BMW for everyone I'm glad to see someone bought a 5 GT, i don't have anything bad to say about any 5 series. If you want to have your ride bashed, get a ZDX.... ugliest SUV since the Pontiac Aztec

Aztec was really bad but the Nissan Juke gives it a run for it's money.

useful for those which love the handling of the normal sedans but live in countries with real shitty roads and high ground clearance makes you drive with a little more confidence. Thats is why i chose the x3 over a 3 series sedan

I had an X6 35D M Sport, I found out the hard way that trying to park the thing was nearly impossible it had to go.
This X4 IMO is totally pointless.

As posted above, this would be the ideal compromise for someone who deals with challenging road conditions on a regular basis. Plus, it would likely be able to tow, something that the 3 and 5 series aren't very good for.
Hoping it looks like this... and would like to see more renders! Can't seem to find any more like this. Last edited by bbg2d; 11-17-2011 at 10:26 PM.. |

Well, with the new 4 series looking like it is replacing the 3 coupe, why not have a 2-door x4? The range rover evoque has a coupe model, the porsche Cajun looks like it will be a coupe as well. Why not BMW?

I already posted this 2 weeks ago in some other x4 thread.
Some news on the new X4 http://www.autobild.de/artikel/bmw-x...u-2282539.html (in German). Quick translation from the article: SUVs were the day before yesterday. In the future, it says: all-wheel-drive, high seated, but please in sports package. BMW plays the leader - for example, the new X4. 2013 BMW goes with the new X4 at the start. The Board adopted the X3 as this derivative is produced in Spartanburg / USA. Unlike Audi (Q6), Mercedes (GLC, MLC) and Porsche (Cajun) BMW wants to place in this crowded segment no new five-door hatchback. Therefore, the X4 a three-door model, which look far more dynamic than the X3 and even sportier handling characteristics is promising. Even a 400-hp x4m is conceivable - in reply to GLC 25 AMG, Q6S and Cajun Turbo S. The X4 is a snapshot, with BMW wants the success of the tie X6, which is selling dazzling as always - all the questions of meaning defiance.

I dig it. I'd buy an F31 335i XDrive if BMW would send me one, but I don't think they will. I'd also think about an F32, and keep my Explorer in the next space.
The X3 doesn't quite speak to me - the new model is technically fantastic, but the look still says "cute mini-SUV" to me, which will keep me out of it. This car looks more aggressive. Maybe a good choice for people who want a high-performance, aggressive driving vehicle with some utility, but can't or won't spend $80K on a nice X5 or a Cayenne.
