I have some of seepage that I have trying to track down. I thought it was my water pump but it is the profile gasket between the water pump bracket and block. The weep hole and water pump gaskets are clean. The blue crust is coming from above the metal pipe that goes backwards and ending up on the side of the pump housing. My shopping list is getting really long.

Does anyone know if there is a cooling system refresh "kit" available with the various hoses, etc? My 2018 X3 M40i is at 65,000 miles. Just replaced the expansion tank. Wondering if I should consider being proactive on the other failure points and looked for a comprehensive kit as is available for other models, but could not find anything for the X3 M40i.

I'm guessing you'll not find a complete 'kit' for the G01 cars...most would say the cooling system components (radiator, water pump, hoses, etc.) are more robust than what we've experienced in many of the older BMW's circa the late 90's into early 2000 model years. I recently got an X4 xDrive20d 2019, and when I installed the MyBMW App, it shows a warning with a message like:

No. I believe that's a recall for certain vin#s. I think I remember reading about that one. Check your vin here: https://www.nhtsa.gov/recalls |

BTW, thanks to your message, I found another recall related to my car start motor (phew!!), but not pasting it here to avoid clutter to this thread. |
