Sharp vehicle sfax and I know the two of you are thrilled it is finally here! I don't believe I have noticed the interior of a UK vehicle and it is interesting to see one. We took delivery at the Performance Center with only 2 miles on the odometer. While touring the plant we saw where they are put on a "treadmill" of sorts to check it out so that is where the 2 miles came from. Looking forward to more updates.

I switched from space gray to titanium silver. Over here it doesn't come with the license plate on the front, do you need it because it would look better without it..
We have to have them front and back and for me when I see the cars your side of the pond they look wrong without a front license plate (especially where the mounting plate is there but no license plate)

I guess it what you are used to seeing

Legal requirement in the UK unfortunately. I think the new style Audi front grilles look much better with no plate

The oblong "European" style licenses plates seem to at least work well with the dimensions of a vehicle. Our more square ones here in the States just seem to throw the lines off somehow. Such a little thing, but always jumps out at me when I move back here! We have to have the front ones here in VA, too. Wish we could ditch them.

Nice to see she's finally made it sfax, I've seen a few now. One bombing down the M1 in Notts, all black with a trade plate on. One on the back of a transporter.

All makes me feel like my dealer c0cked up my order or sold it to someone else. Mine is due w/c May 9th which is a little better than the June estimate. Should've been Feb/Mar though!

It was nice and sunny today so I took the opportunity to take some more more photos. Sadly, I lack the photographic skills of Judd :) but here they are anyway!

Thx for the pics.

I'm a bit confused about the front L/R grills : do they come in different color and material? yours are dark and i saw some silver one in the USA.

The standard grilles are black on the 20d. I think I read that diesels have black grilles as standard whereas petrols are silver. You can buy titanium look grilles as an accessory and I considered them but I think they suit darker colours better. Might still change my mind and get them

Really nice pics Sfax. Personally I'd prefer the metal grill, I hope mine comes metal. Does the black on the bottom bumper bother you? Also, have you noticed if it's cheap or does it seem rugged, just wondering if it will get scratched easily. I should be getting mine very shortly..

Sfax, were you or your car at the post office in Winnersh today (Thurs) at about 15:00? If not you, then I have spotted my first X3 in the area that was not the test car from Coopers.
