Anyone know about how long now?
I just called the 800# and it said my x3 was in the paint shop with an estimated completion date of 5/12! I was just wondering what everyone elses wait times were from that status? I am in NJ so it's not that far from SC.
Thanks! |

My dealer told me it would take ~18 days to get it shipped from SC to California. Since you are in NJ, would it be shorter? I don't know.

Mine was done on Sunday and the dealer is thinking they should have it by this Saturday or Monday at the latest.

I am hoping transit to NJ is quicker since it's really only an 17 hr drive to SC. I will keep everyone updated. Please do the same! So excited for us all to get our new rides!

It's not the transporting that takes long, but when they decide to load it on the truck. They wait until they are full before sending on their way so our X3's may sit for a few days before being transported.

Hopefully a trailer doesn't just go to one dealer because I ordered from a small one, but there are a few huge ones in NJ near here so maybe they will ship it faster. (Wishful thinking)

Just posted this on my order thread but I emailed my CA and he's saying 3 to 4 weeks now that it's done. I hope I luck out and it arrives sooner

I wonder if that is because you are across country? I know trailer drivers can only drive a certain amount of time before they have to stop for a few hours and then pick back up. It's all a waiting game for us now.

completion itself takes about 40 hours (production time)
everything else is just waiting, waiting and waiting... but as everyone else said the logistics is the dramatic part of the whole story: from shipment to delivery So you need to consider 4 weeks from start of production until pick up Always take the worst case, so if it comes earlier, you'd be happy! |

You are all so lucky to have such short delivery dates, my vehicle was completed on the 18th February and is still to arive. Have been promised delivery in the next few days.

I just got a call today from the dealer saying my car is scheduled to ship on Sat or Monday and I should have it by next weekend! We'll see if they are right. I am not getting my hopes up too high.
