New Rims Inquiry

Hi all,

I’m looking at some aftermarket 20in 892M wheels on eBay. I have a 2019 X3 M40i with stock wheels (19s).

Questions
1. Will these fit? (5x112, 23 & 38 offset, 8.5/9.5 offset)
2. Will they cause any sensors/lights to go off since they are 20in vs the 19in stock?

892M Wheels - eBay

Thanks in advance for the help!!

1 yes they’ll fit - front will be a little more flush with the fender vs a factory size 20” rim. Back will be about the same.

2 - no, no lights / issues

3 - another option is you could buy my mint condition OE 20” 699m wheels off my m40i. I’m in NYC so wouldn’t even need to ship 😁

Definitely alibaba selling on ebay.

The real 892m specs are:
Front Wheel Specs: 9.5Jx21 ET31
Rear Wheel Specs: 10Jx21 ET39

Agreed. Haven’t bought alibaba/aftermarket before - any concerns I should be aware of?

If you want to get 827/892 style wheels going custom specs via alibaba is a good option to go. A bunch of us just ordered a few months back. Do you want staggered or square set up? You can do 20x9.5 ET20-25 for a nice slush set up without needing spacers. Check out the following thread.

I went with 19x9.5 ET22
