why? any reason?
Few people that i speak of, car enthusiasts, there are two reasons why they will not do PPF 1. a good PPF installer requires all panels to be removed in order to “tuck in” the PPF. This could results in possible clips damage which then make rattle noise. Or a bad panel install would produce rattles. 2. PPF only lasts for a year or two depends on the PPF quality. After that, it must be removed or otherwise would risk yellowing, or worst. The original paint will stick to the PPF, and will peel together with PPF. With that said, i still see no reasons on why you should avoid PPF. For number two, you can remove it after you buy the car, for number one, you can go to dealership for warranty claim if you hear any rattle Last edited by dangerus_car; 02-20-2023 at 04:09 PM.. |

Yeah, same, why? This is a very puzzling point of view.
To me, it shows the buyer cares enough to spend the money to keep the car looking nice. My 911 had one from the previous owner and the car was perfect when I bought it. I would much rather have the previous owner pay for it. As far as Golf vs. Type R, I would go Type R - much more fun. If you don't need all wheel drive it's a no brainer. And if you like money, also a no brainer - you won't lose much, if anything, on the Type R. |

Read this so you know what i am talking about https://www.onerpro.com/single-post/...f-installation How are you going to tuck in the PPF without removing bumper ior door handle? Impossible. As for longevity of PPF, you can research yourself. A very good PPF lasts max 5 years in which case it needs to come off the car or it will stick with the car paint. Also read this user comments, pretty much confirmed what i said https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...37&postcount=6 Last edited by dangerus_car; 02-20-2023 at 06:23 PM.. |

PPF will last as long as it is maintained and none of the current films yellow. I've personally seen 21 year old film pulled off of a Porsche and zero paint came off of the car. |

Yes, you are the only one. The FK8 looks like some bullshit from an off brand street racing video game. All the fake cooling bits, non functional aero, and faux carbon fiber tells you everything you need to know.

[QUOTE=2023G87M2;29862898]What. Am I the only one That thinks the fk8 looks amazing and the fl5 looks weird and oddly proportioned?
I love the FK8. If I’m buying a bonkers FWD track car, I want it to look… bonkers |

You can buy a new Golf R? There are huge markups and long wait times.
Despite the odd infotainment and I’ve heard some glitches with it, I would get the R, better all around car |
