Represents about a 4% discount off "sticker". With that miles on the car already, even though it's very low, it was either used as a loaner or a test drive vehicle or had a previous owner who turned it in quickly. I would try for a better discount especially with the LCI rolling into dealerships already. The dealers will talk your ear off about the market and not having cars and so on but it's well documented here you can get a 2022 at 6% off sticker before a possible loyalty incentive, you just can't have it in your garage today. Comes down to how much you need a car right now, your opinion on the 2022 as well. Long story short- maybe try get more aggressive with the discount. Mention some of these points Last factor i see here is that this is in CA where it seems the market is a bunch tighter at this point then perhaps the east coast where i am located |

Is there any expectation that September incentives for lease/finance are better than August? I ask because.. the car is at dealership and I'm curious whether to wait a week or not basically.

Historically end of year sees aggressive pricing and rebates, but who the hell knows in this market. I personally would wait for things to cool off. Unless you need a car, stay away from the car industry.

Does anyone have a dealer they are recommending right now that is giving 6-7% off a 2022 X4m?

Military in Germany. There are 2 dealerships and they don't haggle. They both simply take 10% off MSRP. Also, we don't have to pay taxes. This was all i needed to sell my 2016 Ford Focus ST ($20K) and order me a 2022 X4MC. Going to be a long 2 month wait...

Just picked up my F97 LCI. MSRP was $84,445. Out the door was $79k + $1700 for the full wheel and tire coverage. Zero down sign and drive. Payments are $1200 a month with NC tax rolled in. 36 months with 10k miles. Residual is $47k.

Deal advice / data points?
First time posting here, but I have an LCI X3MC (BG) arriving this week at the dealership, and because I last went in and put down deposit pre any ordering guides and before they could even spec the vehicle, in an awkward position where we haven't actually got a firm price, just some loose negotiations and a phone call to spec the car once the allocation came in. Salesman is trying to push that others are paying above sticker for this, and angling that MSRP is a good deal. This thread looks super sparse on deals here, besides Vastyle who says he got 6-7% off MSRP for a '22. Does anyone else have any other data points or advice here? How did you manage that in this climate, Vastyle?

I doubt you'll get 6-7% off when they have you by the 🏀. You are desperate for the car (as I was after waiting for months to get mine delivered), there's demand up to the roof, and you didn't negotiate anything beforehand (big mistake). Unless you have a very strong relationship with the dealership, if I were in your shoes I'd be happy with a modest discount. Maybe 3-4%? |

Called around today to 9 different dealers trying to find an allocation for a X4M. No luck. I want to build it without the sunroof and a mobility kit which isn't going to happen on an off the lot example. Guess I'll call around some more this week and cross my fingers.

Anyone here with recent purchase experience? Hoping to hear more about the difficulty of finding an allocation, how long did you wait for your build and delivery and whether you received a dealer discount off of MSRP? Thanks.

10/11 - allocation received, deposit placed, build went immediately to status 112 10/20 - build went to status 150 11/1-11/5 - estimated build completion ??? - estimated delivery, should be within a week of build completion barring any unusual circumstances I received 4% off MSRP but am a repeat client.

10/18 - Dropped my G80 build and grabbed an F97 allocation my dealership was about to swap out (I think it was already at 112) 10/20 - build went to status 150 11/5 - Week 44 completion Assuming it’ll be delivered to Eastern PA dealership around 11/12-11/15 I’m at 3.5% off MSRP but we never finalized whether it could get better than that. |
