In my opinion, the calipers have nothing to do with the interior color. It's not one of those things where the eye naturally compares the two. The caliper color should match the look of the exterior with little concern given to the interior.

But everyday you drive with your pano you'll be wondering what the handling would've been like w/o it ($1200 difference)...

None of the preliminary option sheets I have seen have the Laser HL option, this sucks because this is one of the reasons I did not get a '21 and waited for the '22.
I have reached out to someone I know at BMWNA regarding this, very curious to see what they come back with. |

Apparently the Icon Adaptive LED Headlights with Laserlight (5AZ) will not be available to order, at least for the foreseeable future. I am not sure if that means the lights will look like the non-laserlight ones on the G80 M3, which look pretty weak in comparison to the 5AZ ones
I guess we will find out soon if this is indeed the case or not. Quote:

Marina Bay Blue Tartufo interior M Sport seats Ventilated seats Panoramic roof This is what I had before (it used to be Pythonic, I assume they went with the new blue and not a black or a white 🤣 I still don't have the production number so I can't see it, but I'll get that soon. I'll keep you posted. |

Yes, very anxious indeed! But I only got my production number today, so it is only going to get worse! 😂

Maybe someone else can confirm this but on OP's build sheet, there is "deletion of digital key". Meaning you can open, lock, start your car with your iPhone.
https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.bmw...r-key.amp.html I also saw it's an option on the UK site as well. I wanted the Display Key but if this is what we'll be getting then I'm perfectly fine with it. What do you guys think? |

I'm fine with the regular fob to be honest, but it would be a welcome addition. I like to be able to lock/check stats from afar with the myBMW app, but I don't think I need to have my key on my iPhone. |

Very nice build. Did the dealer give you any explanation on the deletion of digital key? I think BMW is still providing that option/feature in order models (i.e. 3-series, X5) and it's strange that they decide not to offer that on the X3M LCI.

Well, I didn't ask. They know very little and BMW has not communicated much with them. I didn't want him to speculate. |

i have no idea if display key is provided. tbh the display key is another keyfob which im not interested in. i simply want the ability to unlock and drive off with my car while only wearing my watch. seems like BMW is getting rid of the display key for all X3/X4 models due to the chip shortage… but i have yet to see another other vehicles in the line up that are being effected by it. and there have been no definitive answers from BMWNA as the order guides havent been sent out yet.

f82fanatic: You picked an outstanding color in marina bay blue!! It is beautiful. Strongly considering this myself for X4M. I saw it being offered on German configurator - I know you don't yet have Order Guide and/or Price Guide to share - but did you get the full list of U.S. colors in order to chose this? Curious if they were also offering any "Priority 1" colors which are listed for X3/X4 - such as Tanzanite Blue II or others (for additional cost). Thanks

I really didn't ask or was offered other colors. The dealer provided only this as a "guide" until we get the real one. https://bmwusanews.com/newsrelease.do?id=3737&mid=652 |
