Did you asked them if they always torque them properly?
Most of my customers came in with over torqued by the dealer. Some trigger happy techs.

I was switching to my winter setup and was using a torque wrench for the first time. The 105 torque value seemed pretty loose when the wrench clicked. When I removed the factory installed lugs, it took much more force to remove than hitting 105 on tightening. Anyone have any experience they can share as I don't have any reference on how "tight" 105 should feel.
I'm using a harbor freight tool ICON torque wrench. Thx. |

One important step is to re-torque the wheels after about 25 miles and when the wheels are cool. Because the steel of the hub/lugs expands and contracts differently than the aluminum wheels they need to be re-torqued. On my second torquing almost all the lugs are not at the spec torque. I do it a third time a week later but have not had any which were not at the right torque. This is on all my vehicles. The reason I am so paranoid is I almost had a wheel fall off on my truck before I knew to re-torque. Luckily I caught it and only had to have three studs replaced but the lesson was learned. |

I found this in the 2020 X3M manual. I guess I should have read it a little more closely. It appears that 140 nm is the correct value as posted above by sd306 .
Direct from the manual: Screw on the lug bolt. The tightening torque is 140Nm. |

Apparently the Harbor Freight unit called the ICON outperformed the super pricey SNAP-ON unit.
