The discount to MSRP is going to vary by region, how many dealers are competing for business etc. 7% is not bad by any means though you will see others say 10%, maybe more. You are kind of locked in, as is the dealer. You want the car, and the dealer doesn't want to lose the sale and have the car on their lot to sell. Kind of a game of chicken.
As for the 1.9%, what does "no credit" mean? The BMW website for my zip code says the same 1.9% but it does say it is available from participating dealers with excellent credit. If they have run a credit report and are offering a higher rate you might want to review your credit report. The website shows $1,000 APR credit for financing and $750 credit for leasing... at least for my zip code. If you are a member of USAA or PenFed you can get additional incentives from them. Also do the test drive which I posted about. My dealer is letting me do it for another $1,000 of MSRP.

Ah, so you mean no credit incentive. Should have figured that out...

Whats the best way to get the best deal with discounts and incentives? I've never leased before and I'd really like to get a well equipped M40i. I've been searching for a few weeks now and definitely feel like leasing is a better option for me. Wondering if its possible to get a payment in the $500's. Otherwise I will likely go with a 2017(f25) model instead. I've seen some of the numbers in this thread and wonder how they got such good deals.

You'll likely get a bigger discount on a custom build as opposed to buying one off the lot. 2020s are getting harder to find, so leasing a 2021 will probably be your best option. I suggest browsing the Leasehackr forums marketplace and using a broker—most are offering at least 10% off a custom build. |

If any of you work for a company that offers the BMW Corporate Sales Program, the current credit is $1000.00 for a 2020 X3 and $750.00 for a 2021 X3. The language on the Certificate that prints plainly says, this incentive is in addition to current sales offers EXCEPT loyalty & conquest.
So if your a BMW loyal customer you cannot double dip. Basically the Corporate Sales Certificate really only benefits new customers that don't have any loyalty to BMW thus far. What I am trying to find out is this: If you finance currently it says for my zip code credit of $1,000.00 and 1.9% financing but can I add another $1,000.00 credit for the test drive email I just got from Sept 8th-12th that certificate is valid on vehicles delivered and retailed from 9/8/2020 thru 11/2/2020. So can I get a credit of $2000.00? Still that amount is pennies especially for a BMW loyal customer like myself since 1999. This will be my 3rd BMW and I always feel like I have to go in begging for incentives. |

Yeah, I noticed that too, the corporate sales cert does not really help for those of us who have loyalty. There is zero incentive rebate in CA this month other than the $750 loyalty. However, I noticed that they just started a "Unplug to Unleash" event with $1000 rebate Sept 17 to Sept 27 in CA as well. West coast dealers must have complained about getting a raw deal. It does not even mention taking a test drive. As long a sale is made in that period, vehicle can be picked up by Nov 30. Both MY20 and MY21 qualify. |

Good advice. And I have been because the G01 is certainly more appealing on virtually every front. Did you get your 2019 here in Washington?

Marysville but yeah close enough. Thats why I've been in touch with my brother who works at BMW Beverly Hills. They're part of the Sonic automotive group and have been looking at their cars for sale. But I would need to have anything I bought shipped here to WA. Which is gonna be no less than $1000.

Hi - First timer here and first really appreciate the info in this forum! Closing in on my first BMW, a X3 m40i but in no hurry to buy. Am seeing some good incentives ($4k financing, $1k unplug to unleash, $1k corporate) Question - historically do incentives look like this late in the model year? Like, if i waited a year could i expect something similar with even more inventory? Many thanks in advance!
