Visited my 93 year old aunt yesterday. She's got a great view of a portion of the southern Sierra snow pack (although this wasn't a really clear day).

Yep, wife’s mother breeds them. Rosy... daft as a brush... 2 yrs old, had pups early this year.

Visited a good friend of mine in Pennsylvania the other day who has a gorgeous loaded X4 M40i in white with red leather. He introduced me to some incredible wide open back roads. Wow I am beyond impressed at what these things can do! I was really pleasantly surprised and have a new appreciation for this car. So nimble, agile and responsive. And that exhaust note is mesmerizing!

Love the X4...seeing pictures like this makes me question getting the X3. The roof rails and extra space in the back really are something I need though. If I lived in a more urban area I think the X4 would have been my choice.

All these (pointless ) photography skills are really inspiring me to try my best on taking similar shots. Stand by... (waiting for these unsettling weathers the NC Triangle has been getting recently... to be over, wash, wash... ) |

I'm retired, but do income taxes - the US season ended Apr 15th - and since yesterday was a beautiful spring day, I put the trailer hitch to its first use:

Just really liked the way the morning sunlight was hitting the car after parking it at the office today.

Took a trip to visit the wife's family in central FL. We made it through the storms that pounded the east coast today. Took a pic...

Kingsburg, Ca Car Show
Attended a car show (300 + vehicles - mostly '40's & "50's hot rods, muscle cars, and pickups) Saturday. The '50's 'Bird has a 2011 GT500 motor in it and lots of chassis work to make it drive like a modern car. Then there's the Volvo; First one I've seen modded so heavily. Lots of money was spent on that car. Next weekend is a 1500+ car show in Bakersfield. There are good size shows with mostly different cars in Central California almost every Saturday through the end of June.
