I only mounted the front wheel to test it. I won’t have full pics until Halloween. I used 4 - 8.5” wheels since 255 winters aren’t wide enough for 9.5” wheel.

If going with 20" winters - what tire size(s) would be recommended? And would I need to go with a staggered setup or would square be okay?
Thinking of going with 20 X 9 unless there's a different specs that will provide more options (and pricing) on tires. Last edited by RFernando; 09-04-2018 at 02:47 PM.. |

Anyone else having trouble finding the 699M Winter set?
I had a dealer I bookmarked because they had the set for $2,900 - and now they're out of stock and listing the price at $3,700+. In general I'm having trouble finding the full set on the various dealers' sites. |

The wheels look great, the tires are the same as the ones on the OEM 699M winter set. The only issue is that the center cup is slightly bigger than the OEM, so the I won't be having the BMW logo on the wheels. Oh, well...

I can try them on over the weekend, but we are still in the 70s-80s, so they won't stay on until we dip into the low 40s.
I will snag a few pics though

Can anyone help me figure out which wheels I can buy that:
(1) Fit my 2018 X3 M40i; (2) Fit the winter tires I already own - Pirelli Scorpion P255/45 R20 105V (3) Which spacers are needed to make the install flush? Thanks! |

https://www.willtheyfit.com/index.ph...h=9&offset2=30 Note that the circumference is about -1.2% wrong, so it should be fine. I.e. I suggest a 20x8" rim with ET around 30. Personally I wouldn't run with spaces, especially in winter, to keep the track width the car was designed for. /n |

So is the consensus that 20x9 will fit? Or is too wide for the front?
I am looking at a few rims, but the ones I like most are 20x9 ET 32, and tire sites are telling me this size does not fit our vehicle, but 20x8.5 ET 35 will. |

ET 32 is going to be really close to the caliper on the front, I'm running 8.5 ET 25 and they fit, the difference is only 1mm between mine and 9 ET32, but you want a few mm between the face of the caliper and the wheel spokes. It would probably be fine at ET32, but it will be pretty tight.

I just test mounted my 19" 32mm offset and while they are tight, there is still about 1/8" between the rim and the top of the breaks brakes. Less than the OEM but still enough
