Waiting on Car need some pics
Waiting for the car to come in and I have been collecting small things to install before the car gets here.
I am considering a rear bumper top protector. Has anyone installed one of this and have any pics to share? Also considering the exhaust tips, but not sure how the m sport package is configured so will probably wait for those. Here is a list of the small things I purchased, can wait until the cars get in so I can put them on: BMW tire valves Coding cable and software BMW sun visor WeatherTech floor mats Chrome door edge guard trim molding BMW license plate frame and BMW screw covers European light switch (so I can turn the rear fog lights) iPhone 4 Snap in adapter BMW 3rd brake light decal Carbon fiber roundel BMW multifunction cargo mat Led interior package M pedals BMW USB cigarette lighter charger Hum, seems I'm forgetting something, I will keep an updated list and take pics when the car gets here and I install these. |

What color is your new vehicle? Chrome edge guards, really?
Where did you get your BMW license plate frame with BMW screw covers and BMW 3rd brake light decal?

IMHO, I would skip the door edge guards. If you go with them then be careful not to scratch the paint as it may lead to rust. I am old enough to remember door edge guards being a very popular mod and seeing a lot of rusty doors but that was before the paints and rust prevention we have today.

I have the 3M invisible ones on my Infiniti and they work pretty good, I make go that route instead of these, just need something to protect the edge knowing how the kids and the wife open the doors :-)
